Driving Forward:
Our City has been driving forward, and the Chamber is looking to keep a step ahead also. The Chamber has been holding steady but continuing to look for new ways to improve every event so that more of our members will be promoted and so that more people will come to Willard to eat, shop, and lodge. If you have an area of your business that you would like to have promoted, please let me know so that we can work together to get the word out.
Upcoming Events:
The 4th Annual Cruisin’ Willard Car Show on June 1, 2013 in Historic Downtown Willard is a great way to meet potential new customers because this event attracts residents from all the surrounding communities. Please come and enjoy the fun and bring your family.
The 25th Annual Golf Outing for Scholarships on June 17, 2013 at the Willard Golf Club will be our greatest golf outing yet. There will be very BIG prizes, great food, and of course all the profits go towards scholarships for Willard High School seniors in the name of our Chamber Members. Please get your team ready for the fun.

Thank You for attending the 22nd Annual State of the City. Thanks to Domino’s and Willard Country Kitchen for the fantastic food. The evening was full of information:
Our City is continuing to move forward with the new hospital, the construction of our new school, and the widening project of 224 scheduled for next year. Now is the time for us to take all the momentum we have and continue to seek new businesses and continue to support one another. This was the main message presented by Brian Humphress our City Manager.
Don Graham, president of Willard Area Economic Development Corporation and owner of Donald Graham & Associates, said that community pride is what caused him to return to Willard many years ago. He is helping to lead a project to “Save Our Clock,” which is the old clock at former city hall. His vision is to have the clock stand in its former glory in Historic Down town Willard. The clock is a symbol of community pride and if you are interested in helping with this project please contact Don at 419-933-2081.
Smile! Linda Walton, WAC
